Total Waste Management from Regulatory Applications and Disposal

Project Summary

We worked with a large insurance firm that had switched their HVAC system and had approximately 50 obsolete drums of boiler chemicals they did not need anymore. The office was located in Wayne County.

Company: An Insurance Firm
Category: Total Waste Management
Location: Wayne County, MI
Focus: We worked on the removal of approximately 50 obsolete drums of boiler chemicals that were no longer needed for their HVAC system.

Project Tasks

Customer needed assistance with disposal.
We also assisted the customer with obtaining and EPA ID number and applying for an episodic event so that they could dispose of the waste without altering their generating status.

Project Control

We were able to offer them complete waste management from the waste profiling, disposal, and applying for all applications required by EGLE and the EPA.
Not only were we able to assist them with disposal but we were also able to apply and obtain all the proper regulatory requirements for the disposal event without changing their generating status. This saved them a lot of money in regulatory fees as this would have caused the company to be considered a large quantity generator of hazardous waste.
