Project Summary
The customer needed a certified and trained cleaning crew and Turbo Vac truck that would be able to enter the heat treat furnaces to cleanout out all of the used oil and sludges that accumulate over a period of time during production.
Project Tasks
ERG was brought in to complete a site walk through to access the heat treat furnaces and evaluate each one to determine the scope of work and get a better understanding of what the cleanout would require in order to meet the customer’s needs. ERG was able to develop a cost effective and efficient plan to complete the required cleaning on each furnace on a recurring schedule to minimize waste build up and down time of the customers production equipment. After the initial cleanout of each Heat Treat Furnace, the customer inspected them and were highly satisfied with the job that was completed.
The company also had a lot of material to dispose of to clean the property for sale. ERG was able to provide them with a turn key solution for the chemicals allowing them to work on the other items.
